01Who we are

London Andrology is the data controller for this website. Our address is 18 Devonshire Street, London W1G 7AF. You can contact us about anything in this policy at info@londonandrology.com or on 0207 034 5032.

02Information we collect

When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, phone number if you give it, what your enquiry is about and your message. Your message may include information about your health. Please only share what you are comfortable sending by email.

When you browse the site, Google Analytics records which pages you visit, roughly where you are (to city level), the device and browser you use, and how you arrived. This does not include your name or contact details.

If you load the map, Google receives your IP address and browser details so it can show the map. Nothing from Google Maps loads until you press Load map.

03How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, answer your questions and arrange a consultation if you want one.
• To act on a referral from your GP or another specialist.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used, so we can improve it.

We do not use your information for marketing, and we never sell it.

04Our lawful basis

• Enquiries: our legitimate interest in responding to you, and taking steps you ask for before you become a patient.
• Health information in an enquiry: your explicit consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. If you go on to receive care, we process it for the provision of health care.
• Analytics: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, in aggregate only. You can switch analytics off at any time in Cookie settings at the foot of every page.

05Who we share it with

Your enquiry is read by Professor Yap and his secretarial team. We use a small number of service providers who act on our instructions:

• Zapier passes your form submission to our inbox.
• Our email provider stores the enquiry email.
• Google provides Google Analytics and, if you load it, Google Maps. Google signals and data sharing are switched off in our Google Analytics account.

06International transfers

Zapier and Google may process information in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

07How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need to respond to them and for a reasonable period afterwards. If you become a patient, your information forms part of your medical record and is kept in line with professional record-keeping guidance.

Google Analytics data is kept for two months.

08Your rights

You can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the information we hold about you
• correct information that is wrong or incomplete
• delete your information, or restrict how we use it
• stop using your information where we rely on legitimate interests
• send your information to you or another organisation in a portable format

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email info@londonandrology.com to make a request. We will reply within one month.

The cookie policy lists every cookie the site uses and how to switch analytics off.

10Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

11Changes to this policy

We will update this page if anything changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
